Marcellin is an engineer from ESITech, specialising in ‘life sciences technologies’. After a degree in cellular, molecular and pathophysiological biology from the University of Angers and a DUT in Biological Engineering with a major in Biological and Biochemical Analysis from the IUT in Laval, he built up a solid knowledge of biology and biotechnology.

His first experiences as an R&D engineer were in the field of immuno-oncology, notably within national and European projects. In the course of his work, Marcellin made a significant contribution to a number of landmark scientific publications, while at the same time developing unique new automated analysis methods.

For his commitment, initiative and innovation, he was awarded the innovation prize for his previous company, Varacyte.
