Welcoming New Talent to the DareWin Evolution Team
Welcoming New Talents to the DareWin Evolution Team!
We’re excited to welcome three incredible interns and one skilled PhD on a short-term contract to the DareWin Evolution team. Each brings a unique perspective, valuable expertise, and a drive that aligns perfectly with our vision and values.
Mirjam VICTORIN – R&D Engineer
Mirjam obtained her PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2023 from Lund University (Sweden), where she specialised in anaerobic processes, such as the production of biogas and biofuels. She participated in several research projects supported by the Swedish and Danish Energy Agencies. After her dissertation, she worked for Veolia Water Technologies AB in Sweden as a process engineer for a year. There, she was responsible for laboratory projects on biological wastewater treatment systems with biofilm technology, simulating and testing the design of new and existing processes for different clients.
Nichele Venkitachalam – MSc Trainee
After a BSc in zoology in India and teaching experience in France, Nichele turned to scientific research. She is currently doing a Master's degree in Marine Sciences at the University of Côte d'Azur. As part of this, she did her first internship at the Nice Institute of Chemistry, focusing on improving bio-based films to combat plastic pollution. Passionate about sustainable biotechnologies, she has now joined Darewin Evolution for her final Master project.
Alix Goydadin – BSc Trainee
Alix graduated in 2024 with a two-year post-secondary national professional degree (BTS) in Nature Management and Protection, during which she did an internship at the Arcachon Marine Station. This internship in the marine environment and her curiosity about microalgae led her to her current trainee position. At the end of her 4-month trainee program at DareWin Evolution, Alix will graduate with a bachelor's degree in Microalgae Aquaculture and Economic Revaluation from the University of Pau and Pays de L'Adour.
Emma Sagrandi – BSc Trainee
Emma is in the second year of a BSc degree in Food Science and Biotechnology at the University of Avignon. In 2024, she did an internship at Arkopharma in Carros in the Alpes Maritimes region. She joined the team for two months with the aim to complete her university degree.
We would like to thanks our partners and institutional supports, without whom this key stage would not have been possible: CNRS, Sorbonne Université, Inria, Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur, and Incubateur Provence-Côte d'Azur. Their constant support has played an essential role in the development of our project and in structuring our growth.
